Tale of Ronin, a project I've watched for a long time has (suddenly) dropped a demo play test on Steam. I was surprised at what I saw on the store page but the #handdrawngame art is what still sucks me in:

What making a game currently looks like for me. The setup is humble. The palette is from mid-80s comics. There are 20 or so cartoonish hand-drawn 2D backdrops left to colour; about 1/3 of the total.
