Thursday night drama, now with a happy ending 🚆
At one point it looked like we’d be on buses all the way from Prague to Brussels, which was… not the plan. Then, against the odds, they fixed the train. Suddenly a platform was announced, the Night Train rolled in, and off we went, about 3.5 hours late but very much back on track.
I’d already started plotting hotels and a daytime backup route, so this felt like a proper railway miracle.

Finally I had time and enough sleep to sit down and post this what transpired on Friday. We were prepared for the inevitable arrival at Köln instead of Brussels due to the strikes, when I got woken up at 6:30am, my thoughts were "OH nice, we're finally there, but people seemed more panicky than usual and I heard from.. It was hard to see, I couldn't figure out what it was, but the first passerby filling his water bottle was enough to make me understand! Well done, French railways!
arrived at Brussels with #hackertrain ! Only about 2 hours late rather than 3.
Relatively, this adventure was only annoying compared to some other ones.
