Ursprüngliche Abfahrtszeit zum Buchungszeitpunkt war 21.45 Uhr.

Nun sollten wir 21.37 Uhr starten, aber wir warten scheinbar noch auf einen Bus aus Paris. Der wird als Ersatz für den #EuropeanSleeper ab Paris eingesetzt.

Immerhin sitzen wir schon im Zug und sind sortiert. Die Erfahrung der ersten Fahrt macht sich bezahlt.

Die Ankunftszeit in Berlin war 9
59 Uhr. Nun neu 8.32 Uhr. Wir sind gespannt, wann wir tatsächlich abfahren und ankommen werden.

On my transcontinental #train ride back home #Warsaw -> #Brussels now. I know many people don't like #NightTrains but I admit the service quality at #EuropeanSleeper has been very satisfying so far. I've got a compartment for myself and can even choose the exact time breakfast will be served tomorrow morning.

* Su tren compuesto que salía de Bruselas y Amsterdam y se unía en Colonia, ahora será un sólo tren Bruselas -> Milán
* Se van de Zürich (supongo que por precio y para ahorrar tiempo)
* Su tren París - Berlín ahora parará en Hamburgo
* Han recaudado 3.5M€, el doble de lo que esperaban, y se plantean comprar coches

¿Qué te parece? Aún están a pérdidas...

Unfortunately, yesterday #europeansleeper did give me up: my reservation was cancelled. The train still went (according to the DB app), but more technical difficulties with their material maybe. Anyway, it sucked. So instead of already being in #berlin for 5-6 hours, I managed to get one of the last (1st class) tickets on an ICE between Amsterdam and Berlin. It is Ascension Day-weekend, so a lot of people have a long weekend and decided to go to Berlin as well..
This train is going well so far though and I am very happy with my seat reservation... The train is completely filled.

Got a downgrade on my #EuropeanSleeper connection of next Wednesday to Berlin (technical issues). Not great, but I should still share a compartment with 2 others so fine with me.

The text in the mail however wasn't that clear, so I both should and should not contact customer service to accept a partial refund and the alternative reservation.
To be sure, I contacted them.

But worst of all: all the tracking links behind every clickable links (which are automatically blocked by my Adblocker)..
So... If you work at ES, read my mail and click the link... Please enjoy a nice eighties song.

Goodbye, Prague! Got on the European Sleeper at 6pm, nearly 2 hours underway now. The wagon I'm in is old, but clean.

So far, I'm alone in my cabin. I pulled the table from under one of the benches and set it up. Plugged my laptop and phone in, quite workable setup.

Only downside: no restaurant wagon on this train, so going to order some overpriced instant noodles instead.
