Von Rom aus ging es mit einem #Frecciarossa nach #Bari. Im Fahrplan sind vermutlich 20-30 Pufferminuten eingeplant. ⏱️ Und bei einem Espresso ☕️ kann man die wunderschöne Landschaft genießen. 👍 Dazu ein paar Eindrücke der Hafenstadt Bari. Nun geht es über die Adria nach #Griechenland.

Thomas LavergneI'm sure you know, @jon, maybe wrote about it already, but things seem to be moving in the right direction from Oslo towards Europe this summer.
Snälltåget will have a direct Oslo->Malmö (not calling at Göteborg), departure 14:49 and arriving on time for boarding their 21:25 night-train towards Hamburg and Berlin. From mid June.
It means one can leave Oslo mid afternoon and arrive in London (via Hamburg and Bruxelles) late afternoon the day after.
I'm curious about passenger rights in case of hick-ups around Malmö. Apparently one buys a single ticket from Snälltåget from Oslo to Hamburg (or Berlin). Only 30min margin in Malmö 😅. Might give this a try this summer.
I havn't checked the other way around yet.

Rolled into St Pancras at 14:17, made it across London, and now settled into a quiet First Class seat on a GWR IET heading back to Bristol. Everything lined up perfectly and it feels great to be gliding west for the last stretch.
After weeks of rails, borders, and night trains, home is in sight. Due into Temple Meads at 16:35.

Homeward bound under the sea 🚄🌊
On the Eurostar from Brussels to London, originally from Amsterdam, and running about 20 minutes late. Currently racing beneath the Channel, which never stops feeling slightly surreal.
Should roll into St Pancras around 14:17, then it's Hammersmith and City line to Paddington and GWR back to Bristol. Nearly there after a brilliant rail adventure across Europe.
