Ennui Vagaries is all about the joys of #boredom, aka the #hobbies and #pastimes we indulge in to stave off stagnation. 

This is a replacement for my No Thoccs Aloud site which had been dormant since 2022. The reason for this change is No Thoccs was too narrow for me to write on consistently, whereas Ennui Vagaries is a place for me to document my journeys though a lot of different hobbies and #pass-times.

Lately I've been filled with what I can only describe as a quiet frustration that periodically boils into a quiet rage. It's resulted in my spare time consisting of couch rot and intrusive thoughts, instead of the hobbies and pastimes I so enjoy.

Some of that is surely perimeno at work, some of that is just life and aging. A lot of that is fueled by the constant forced injections of AI and world politics that feel impossible to ignore.

I'm solution-oriented by nature, so I've spent my morning scribbling messy notes of things I can do to improve my situation - both in my personal well-being and how I ingest the content around me.

Friends, it was cathartic and I'm back to having *IDEAS* about things I want to do instead of wallowing in woe.

Highly recommend it, and I hope to start sharing my noodlings here more often.
