"On 31st May, 2013, #Singapore added another world first to her already impressive resume.

"On that day, the world welcomes her 1st green library for kids at the Central Library located at Victoria street.

"My tree house is aptly named after the centerpiece of the new library. The tree structure is constructed with recycled materials. The 'leaves' of the tree is entirely made of recycled bottles."

🌱 Unsere AG #Nachhaltigkeit hat heute eine kleine Ausstellung zum Thema "Einsichten + Aussichten. Nachhaltigkeit in der KIT-Bibliothek" eröffnet. Wir präsentieren Literatur zu den 17 #Nachhaltigkeitszielen der UN und stellen nachhaltige Initiativen der Bibliothek, von Studierenden des @KIT_Karlsruhe und aus Karlsruhe vor. Als kleines Rahmenprogramm soll es u.a. noch eine Pflanzentauschaktion zu Beginn des Wintersemesters geben. #gruenebibliothek #greenlibraries 💚
