Sadly ran into "Error: Network Error" which is vague and not mentioned on https://docs.github.com/en/codespaces/troubleshooting/troubleshooting-your-connection-to-github-codespaces#browser-cannot-connect - neither VPN back to UK, nor personal hotspot via SoftBank KDDI helped
