My first attempt at making gimbap! I had some leftover ingredients, and wanted to try out my new bamboo roller. The flavor was unexciting, but they were fun to make and eat. I think you can be pretty free form with the fillings, so I'm looking forward to experimenting.

Today started the final leg of my trip with me departing Daejeon and arriving in Seoul. I can already tell there’s a huge amount of stuff to do in South Korea’s capital city, so I’ll do what I can.
After checking in, I ate some delicious tteokbokki, eomuk, & gimbap, napped, walked along the daylighted Cheonggyecheon Stream, & went to Banpo Hangang Park. This city is so alive & brimming with activity!
