I couldn’t sleep past 4 am so I got up and made these🙂.
I modified the cooking aspect of a simple #hotteok recipe I’ve used before- adding a square of 70%cocoa to the walnut, brown sugar, cinnamon recipe. And instead of cooking them stovetop and flattening them , I baked them in the oven for 20 minutes at 380degrees Fahrenheit.
These are dangerous!

One of my kids has been requesting #hotteok so I looked up recipes and made some #vegan ones for vday yesterday. I thought they turned out pretty good. The kid in question, unfortunately, puked right after eating one :( I think he actually was feeling better and just ate too much, but I feel like my work was wasted. Sigh.
