Since my last post, I have gotten back to playing #FinalFantasyVIIRebirth. Still making my way through all the mini-games at the Gold Saucer.

I also played just enough #Persona3Portable to jumpstart my playthrough. I realized exams were coming up and managed to get my academics up just in time, which was exciting.

On another note, I’ve been thinking about getting a new tablet for my 40th birthday which is coming up in June. I’m currently trying to decide if I would want the #GalaxyTab S9 or S9+. Both have the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip and an OLED display, which sounds lovely. The price difference is negligible for renewed models on Amazon right now despite the fact that the S9+ has more storage and more RAM, which would be nice to have for playing Steam games via #GameNative.

To help me with the decision I ordered the #GameSir G8 Plus telescopic controller to be delivered today, which I’m going to try out on an 8th Gen iPad I have lying around to see how handheld gaming on a tablet the size of the S9 would be.

I've been out of the loop for a bit....but I'm a tad impressed with what's possible these days....
#GameNative on my phone!

Making another attempt at playing Steam games on my Razer Edge with #GameNative.

I gave up on using GameHub a while back as all I could get running was Hades and it always crashed multiple times before successfully booting into the game.

I don’t expect great results from playing most of my Steam library on here since the Razer Edge isn’t all that powerful and I have very limited storage, but I think #TalesOfBerseria would be a perfect fit. If it doesn’t work, my next pick would be Final Fantasy XIII-2.

UPDATE: I tried very hard but I couldn’t get Tales of Berseria to boot. I managed to clear up just enough space to download FF13-2. We’ll see how that works. The more I mess with this, the more I realize how unnecessary being able to play Steam games on a handheld device is for me…

Wow, i'm impressed. I just installed #Fallout #NewVegas on my #Ayaneo Pocket Ace using #GameNative (#GOG version) and, it works very well at 1024x640 - which is fully ok for this small display.
It runs with about 50-60 FPS (outdoors!) in Game Mode with 10w battery draw and can be even run in Balanced Mode with 50 Indoors and ~25 outdoors at ~3-4w battery draw.
All settings to ultra!
I guess I will take a tour around the mojave dessert at the weekend :)

Side note: The Steam Version doesn't work on GameNative at all! With #Gamehub Lite it runs, but much slower.
#FalloutNewVegas #AyaneoPocketAce #Proton #Emulation #Handheld

I had to know if Kitsune Tails ran directly on the Meta Quest 3 at >120fps and at 1080p via GameNative.

It's kinda awesome that I *can* kick back on the coach, stare at the ceiling and play it with an Xbox controller.

(I'm bad at the game though)

#KitsuneTails #Quest3 #Winlator #FEXCore #Box64 #GameNative

#gameNative on #android works really nice. I actually have more success with #GOG games imported to it than with #steam that is supposed to work with "natively" but that might be just my library.
So my #pixel is now #steammachine ^^

Now THIS is a #Xbox! No game streaming or remote play, running completely native.
