Some very nice #indiegame breakfast in form of Mina the Hollower to make sure to wake up in mild rage, and the whimsy dystopia of Phonopolis to get down again lol. Also was reminded to buy more games on #GoG
I have a question for the retro gaming community on the Fediverse: do any of you have any experience with the GOG Patrons subscription?
I know it's mostly just bonus features and added say in what dreamlist games are prioritized but I'm curious to know what it's like being a patron in case I ever decide that I can spare the money to become one myself.
If your PC is good (or got the Steam Deck), the Neptunia Re;Birth trilogy and Neptunia VIIR are on sale at GOG until June 4th!

If you're in #Hungary, #Romania or #SouthAfrica and buy your #DRMFree #videogames on #GOG, but don't want to overpay:
I've now added support for those countries and their currencies to #GameSieve - my price tracker and alternative exploration service for GOG's catalog - one day after GOG did so themselves.
(If you're in South Africa, pay particular attention to the regional pricing comparison filters, as there are some really good deals, but also some insanely expensive games compared to what you'd pay everywhere else in the world.)
The DRM-FREE version of Yacht Club Games long-awaited Mina the Hollower is now available on GOG:

From the announcement:
We’re expanding our local storefront experience for players in Romania, Hungary, and South Africa with the introduction of new currencies and regional pricing support!
Starting today, customers in Romania, Hungary and South Africa will see prices displayed in Romanian Leu (RON), Hungarian Forint (HUF), and South African Rand (ZAR), making it easier to browse, compare, and purchase DRM-free games in their local currency. Alongside the new currency support, regional pricing adjustments are also being introduced across these markets to better reflect local purchasing conditions.
