T-21 until I have to take down my HF antenna; the HOA ordered me to. There's no recourse, no easy alternative to quickly get an antenna up again that will not make the HOA gods angry. If there's no HF, there's very little left to do for me in ham radio; I'm not much into VHF/UHF. Out of ideas at the moment.

We (me and @athamanatha ) were going to go to a "homeless camp" so we would have a place to put our bus but we had to meet with someone to see if we "qualify" the one we had to meet with was a probation officer as their other job and they had hoa like rules that would inhibit our progress and keep us from getting on our foot paws and when they found out it wasn't a short bus they told us it wouldn't be feasible unless we got rid of our bus which would severely hurt us and kill our goals
And below is some of HOA like rules they had
No drugs: would hurt my vessels diy hrt
Nothing outside of the vehicle or near: would inhibit us from building and making our bus more of a living space (keeping us from building the parts we need and cutting the wood and constructing parts we need (it's also a construction project we are living in)) and keep us from propping our side solar panels for more livable power
Must have a valid up to date license plate: conflicts with our situation and is why we are looking for someone willing to host us long term until its sorted out with the dmv because they are being a pain

So i would rather mutual aid instead of this bullshit or have someone host us that isn't a hoa disguised as a homeless camp and is designed to keep beings from improving their living situation

HOAs are fucking cancer. I can understand that they want things to be orderly, but selling your house from underneath you is unacceptable. This man has four kids, which means a busy fucking life. Sometimes, things can get overlooked.

I'm not defending the fact that he missed fines, but selling a house from underneath him? Fuck that.

2 years ago I stopped using any kind of chemical fertilizer, pre-emergent or broadleaf weed killer on the lawn

Consequently, I have a yard full of clover, dandelions, thistles etc mixed in with the grass and I'm sure my neighbors are ashamed...

I've also seen more insects and insect species this year in my own yard than I have in a very long time. Same with birds. I'm hoping with a few more plantings of native plants there might be bumblebees and carpenter bees in a few years.

Bugs don't bother me near as much as they used to and I'm excited to see them.
