My coneflowers popped up! So pretty. And I make a hanging basket of sunpatiens every year—they have to be one of my summer faves. 🧡 #flowers #florrespondence
@ikennagray welcome! 👋 Fellow ttrpg, Dropout, Wingspan, and moss fan here. One of my favorite hashtags is #Mosstodon btw, highly recommend. #Florrespondence #Bloomscrolling and #LichenSubscribe are also great.
A little bit of #florrespondence to start the account off.

Someone in my neighborhood planted zinnias on the tree lawn* and it is absolutely stunning. I’m in love. Look at this gorgeousness. I have a packet of zinnias over there, I think I’m going to do the same on mine! 🩷❤️🧡💛💖 #bloomscrolling #florrespondence #flowers

A few of my favorite roses from my trip to Lyndale Rose Gardens in Minneapolis last week. My absolute favorite was the cluster of beautiful purple roses called “Lavender Crush”. They look and smell DIVINE! I’ve already looked up whether they can be grown in zone 6b! 😍 I’ll post the other rose names if I have them in the alt text. #flowers #florrespondence #bloomscrolling
Picnic lunch at Loose Park with my faves. The rose gardens are beautiful but most are looking a little rough right now. I should have gone in May or June. Not sure if it’s because I just saw an *amazing* rose garden in MN or what, but there are a few good blooms and still quite enjoyable. #KC #bloomscrolling #florrespondence
Left my teen in charge and snuck away for a quick walk with the husband before the storm. Only 5 min away, just in case, but it was nice. Pretty views, flowers and birds. 😊 #pedestrianadventures #bloomscrolling #florrespondence
A small purple flower. Geranium robertianum #bloomscrolling #florrespondence
But the carrots are clearly happy about it, along with various other things #allotment #gardening #florrespondence #growyourown
These were sold as saffron crocuses and clearly aren’t, but I absolutely love them. Trying again with the saffron this year - it’s a local tradition https://www.cam.ac.uk/stories/saffron #allotment #gardening #florrespondence
Saffron: a Cambridge spice

Cambridge Saffron draws on the finding of a year-long project funded by Cambridge University’s Research and Collections Programme to investigate evidence of saffron cultivation and use in a variety of University and local libraries and archives. It explores the history and use of saffron both within the region and more widely.
