Visited Loess Bluffs National Wildlife Refuge today (about 100 miles north of Kansas City). A record 1,012 eagles were observed the first week of January for their annual eagle migration. A couple weeks later, I doubt there were 100, but that is still more eagles in than I’ve ever seen in my life, to be sure. It was incredible. 🦅
