Went for an almost 2-mile walk with my son this afternoon. The weather is beautiful. 😍 Spotted a lovely giraffe sculpture made entirely of forks, and giant clumps of mushrooms, too. Possibly ringless honey mushrooms but I’m no expert. 🍄‍🟫 #pedestrianadventures #mushrooms

I was in South Overland Park, KS earlier and walked around Heritage Lake. It’s a nice spot, but full sun—not my favorite. However, I loved seeing a bee hotel! How cool is that?!! #savethebees #pedestrianadventures

Out for a walk this morning and noticed the baby geese are now double the size I last posted in spring, but still cute and fuzzy. 😍Mama goose hissed at me and flapped her wings a bit when I had to walk through this woodchip trail, but thankfully didn’t come at me. Not scared of geese but they can be a-holes sometimes. As is with people, the Canadian geese are typically much nicer than ours. 😅 #pedestrianadventures #walkKC
