Die Magdeburger #Lichterwelt, die jedes Jahr von Ende November bis Februar mit LED-Lichtinstallationen (z. T. zur Geschichte Magdeburgs) in der gesamten Innenstadt kostenlos für Ambiente sorgt. Ganz rechts sieht man noch einen Teil der Magdeburger Halbkugeln auf dem #Domplatz (siehe 2. Bild).

"Lichterwelt" (World of Lights) in #Magdeburg features LED light sculptures all over the downtown area, many of which relate to the history of Magdeburg. On the right, in front of #MagdeburgCathedral, you see part of a representation of the famous Hemisphere experiment (see second photo). The light installations are free of charge and on from November to February.

For anyone else who didn't want to take down festive decorations, now is the time to embrace the tradition of Epiphanytide.

The Epiphanytide period runs from January 6th to Candlemas on Feb 2nd, which is an alternative date to take down festive decorations.

If you'd prefer to swap traditions, you could also celebrate the new Lunar Year (Snake), which starts near the end of January in 2025.
