Questions for fellow artist

Since I'm self taught and my art journey has been slowed a lot because of poverty, struggle with mental health, housing, survival etc...
I didn't get to watch other people create art and paint, even on video I never really watched painting streams (except Bob Ross a little but wow he paints faster than lightning!)

And I really am curious to know; how many hours do spend on an artwork ?
How many breaks do you take ?
Do you have your full attention on one artwork or like me do you make it little by little over the course of many months or years with many other creations (and life) in between ?

🧵(1/3) For a time now, the idea of telling the story of my relationship to my grandfather has been bouncing around in my head. Only recently did I realize that knowing his house across the street, which was a constant for my whole life, was no longer a part of my life, and seeing his empty studio, its bare windows looking like the empty sockets of a ghost, is what has kept part of my mind in perpetual mourning mode.
