Les Your #instance is kind of like the different sect of twitter you fit in. Mas.to seems to be the Big Social one, but there are ones for your different niches. Just like there was politics twitter, science twitter, celebrity culture twitter, stan twitter, those things are here, they are just GENUINELY SEPARATE
Everything you post gets put on the #federatedfeed for your instance, so realize the eyes on you are whatever culture your instance has!
Because of the #federatedfeed tho, I have questions about #mastodonculture with #NSFW things - a lot of what I do or talk about can be triggering or just not something I want in kid-friendly spaces, what's the vibe on that?
Do we just #cw all our posts? How do we make this space #safeforkids or at least do responsible actions enough to keep our content out of their hands?
