Why would an alien race refer to one solar day? Are they talking about Earth's Sol? Another star? Is this an element of whatever is translating for Crichton? Does it also convert time periods? But then why would it be precisely a day and not some conversion?

I've watched the first 2 episodes of #Farscape so far and I think it will be fun. I really liked the second episode with Moya being infested by the space bugs.
It's also interesting that when it first aired, I remember not being interested because of the Henson puppets (I'm probably one of the few elder Millennials you can find that never cared much for Jim Henson or the Muppets). But now, almost 30 years later, they have held up really well on the screen.
