This month, on A Dream Given Form, we tackled two big late season 3 episodes of #Babylon5:

“The Road Home” was actually pretty good, despite my struggles with any film that builds its plot around time travel shenanigans. Gosh, it’s astonishing how many of the cast passed away in their 40s and 60s and so weren’t available for this movie…
We skipped ahead to the fifth film and JFC, really? In 2023, we’re still telling casually sexist jokes like “Well, you _know_ how your mother is about parallel parking. Yuk yuk”
Come on, JMS… fucking do better
If you liked news about journalists getting kicked off TV for covering a torture prison, you might also enjoy: journalists getting kicked off TV for reporting how unpopular and fascy president Clark is.

I say start with season 1. But *continue as far as* season 2 in order to find out what you're watching.
I started with season 2, but that was an accident of timing and it actually makes it slightly harder as you don't have some of the introductions to stuff.
To be honest, though, I think that you'll start to realize that this isn't 1980s stuff when Babylon 4 appears, perhaps even earlier if you realize that no Reagan Era show would have done an episode about union busting quite like _By Any Means Necessary_.
