Verdict:
This is not a great set of head phones. But so far, they work fine for my needs. I think fairphone should look into making a proper travel container, consider adding an extra degree of freedom for the orienting the ear cups, and either skip noise cancellation, or figure out how to do it right. Based on my experience so far, these head phones are for people who ‘just need something’, but otherwise like that their choice is a bit more environmentally responsible.

I had to research online a bit and found #wavelet , an app that EQs Headphones to the Harman-Target.

It made all the difference and now my #Fairbuds are actually usable again.

For listening at home I have a small collection of Hifi-Headphones but for my commute I need BT Earbuds and the Fairbuds seemed like an ok compromise, as the battery is the same as in hearing aids, so battery wear would not create extra e-waste.

Still baffled why Fairphone would make the EQ more limited though. 2/2
