Fairphones sold 2013-2025

With the release of Fairphone’s Impact Report vol. 2 [no longer online], we also got a tiny bit of extra numbers on a favourite topic of us statistics obsessed folks: Fairphones sold since the company’s inception. I have combined these with the number of FP3s sold in 2019 that @Stanzi was able to elicit from @lorahaspels in 2020, past sale numbers (2015-2018) from a German newspaper article from late summer 2018 plus the widely known numbers of 25000 FP1s and 35000 FP1Us sold in 2013 and 2014. ...

Savez vous s'il existe une appli open source permettant automatiquement ou avec un seul "geste" de couper le wifi, mettre le bluetooth, activer les données mobiles ... peut être avec #fairphone #moment ou des applis d'automatisme.

Houla.

Gros bug sur /e/OS avec le Fairphone 6: les appels via bluetooth en voiture sont super mal gérés. À ce niveau-là de la compétition, j’irais jusqu’à dire que c’est inutilisable en l’état.

Pour faire court, si je suis au volant et qu’on m’appelle, ça va bien sonner au niveau de la voiture, par contre quand je décroche, le son reste sur le téléphone (celui qu’on a pas le droit d’avoir en main quand on conduit), sans possibilité de basculer sur les hauts-parleurs de l’autoradio. Inutilisable, quoi.

Alors bon, le pire, c’est que ce n’est pas que je n’ai pas de chance, de nombreu⋅x⋅ses utilisat⋅eur⋅rice⋅s de FP6 sous /e/OS ont signalé le problème et un ticket est ouvert sur le GitLab du projet… depuis 7 mois, quand même.

Bref, c’est bien embêtant. Et probablement rédhibitoire pour pas mal de monde.

Mijn fairphone 6 met e/OS is gereed. Alle apps werken. De een ging wat gemakkelijker dan de ander.
Thunderbird mail, zo gebeurd, Proton, piece of cake.
ING: 10 seconden. Maar ABN..... Wat een kloteapp om over te zetten, rijbewijs scannen, gelukt. Chip lezen gelukt.... maar dan stopt het. Drie keer geprobeerd zonder resultaat. Toen gezegd dat mijn pas geen chip had en een QR code gekregen in de oude app. Hehe, gelukt. Het werkte met de creditcard van ABN wel in 1x goed

#ididit Ich hab jetzt /e/ OS laufen auf meinem neuen Fairphone 6. Bisher alles stabil. Hat nh Ecke gedauert, alles einzurichten, weil ich den ganzen Müll, der sich so über die letzten sechs Jahre angesammelt hat, nicht mitnehmen wollte.
Jetzt bin ich deutlich entgoogelter als vorher. :)

Fairphone's latest news update highlights their first-ever "Nature Report" and their "Journey to Gen. 6" (YouTube) video series and – perhaps most importantly – the upcoming 💔 end of 📱 FAIRPHONE 3️⃣ support this AUGUST (this applies to both the FP3 and the FP3+). The FP3 was launched on 27 August 2019 (FP3+ a year later).

Vandaag mijn Fairphone6 met e/os ontvangen. Toen ik hem aan wilde zetten gebeurde er niks. Aan de lader gelegd en na 5 minuten...ja, 2% stroom. Raar een telefoon met lege accu te leveren.

Maar nu probeer ik apps te installeren via de applounge maar die doet niks. Opnieuw opstarten, cache legen opslag legen. Niks. Laatste advies is om een google account te maken en het dan proberen. Hallo, ik wil dus geen google, daarom dit toestel aangeschaft.

Wie weet raad anders gaat hij retour
