Interesting find on F-Droid: I was able to install it on my Fairphone 3+ running the latest /e/OS. So far I just triggered it as a regular app. If I get it right, this works as a launcher. While I have not figured out – for lack of The Switch on any FP other than the FP6 – any specific gesture inside the app to go back to the default launcher, just choosing an app (e.g. Camera) in Fairphone Moments takes you to that app (as intended) and then allows to return to the default launcher as usual...

Habe habe ein #fairphone5 mit #eOS.
Seit ein paar Tagen schon kann ich aus der App Lounge keine App mehr installieren.
Updates funktionieren weiterhin.
Nun ist auch der #AuroraStore betroffen. Von dort funktionierte es noch.
#fdroid funktioniert.
System ist aktuell und auch ein Neustart brachte nichts.

Sound on videos is pretty bad at concerts.
When I record with my Android phone (fairphone5) at really loud concert, the sound is most of the time really bad, distorted.
Any hints how to make it better?
Is there a (really small) usb microphone that helps for this stuff?
(I'm not filming complete concerts only 1-2 songs each band. I'm always in the corner to not disturb people, I don't like people with cams in the middle of a pit)
So Fairphone in der Paketbox abgegeben und hoffentlich bald auf dem Weg zur Reparatur.
Mein Versuch mein Fairphone 5 via Reset zu fixen ist leider am Wochenende gescheitert. Nach dem Factory Reset wird noch immer beim Anstecken von USB-Kabel der USB-Port deaktiviert.
Meine Backup war leider auch nicht vollständig weshalb ich die Einträge in der 2FA App Aegis verlor und Thunderbird-Einstellungen. Die 2FA Codes hatte ich noch auf einem Reiner Authenicator gespeichert gehabt, weshalb ich den Zugriff zu Accounts nicht verloren hatte. Aber das Neuregistrieren von 2FA für die ganzen Accounts war doch aufwändig.
Ein Kollege borgt mir nun sein altes OnePlus, damit ich das Fairphone einschicken kann. eSIM hab ich leider schon gestern voreilig auf eine physische SIM getauscht, weshalb ich im Moment nicht angerufen werden kann 🤦♂️
