Big news for wild darkness. There’s a big team and years of work behind this designation. Give yourselves a pat on the back.

Accidental overlap of personal research interests. 'Jack's Yarns' was a comical series of patriotic/jingoistic narrative poems (to put it mildly) interspersed with comic-style illustrations published during #WW1. On 19 Feb 1915, the Brecon County Times published the instalment ''The SS Elsinore' in which the captain of the same sinks a #German #submarine just off #Holyhead through deliberate collision. In real life this wouldn't happen until Christmas day 1917 off #Enlli, but here we are with the #propaganda in 1915.
