From my perspective #eliticism is one of the most prevalent forms of #toxic #social #behavior we see in various #FOSS #communities. I've been making fun of it in the past, but I feel like I should keep talking about it.
Eliticism is pumping up your ego on some one else's expense. Diminishing others who aren't as advanced or experienced as you. Doing this you deter people from learning about #FOSS or #Linux etc. But it can also hurt you - like loosing a #job because you argued company workflow.
