I read #Wool a loooooong time ago and realised recently that it had been adapted into an Apple TV series called #Silo. I've quite forgotten how the book went, so watching the series was itself an adventure and at the end of it I still have so many questions! So I might go back to the book, and then read the other two in the trilogy—titled Shift and Dust—even if it might spoil me for Season 2... If you're looking for something escapist away from work, this is great :)
Finished The Last of Us and I guess I saw that ending coming...

Now that my grandma is no longer alive, we go to where her surviving sisters are. And for as long as I’ve known them (i.e. since I was a child), they’ve lived in flats that are just a few steps across from each other.
Made my own scented candle with soy wax (it burns for longer), which I called Fig & Hearth. Base notes of firewood & a drop of amber, middle notes of fig & a drop of sage, with top notes of cotton flower & grapefruit. (In hindsight I shouldn't have added grapefruit—it's a tad too citrusy.) The workshop was a birthday present I finally got to do, and I hope making one’s own scented candles will prove cheaper than buying them…?
