Rowan, Rook and Decard

Still thinking about the one time I played #EatTheReich at a convention and I tried to describe Astrid stealing a van to drive through the art museum to run over Nazis, and the GM said I couldn’t because“They didn’t have vans back then.”

1. They did, they just weren’t the vans we have today.
2. Cool, man, you know what else they didn’t have in 1943? VAMPIRES.
3. The side objective at that location is to save a Van Gogh from the Nazis. Having Astrid steal a van to weaponize was so she’d be able to lean out the window and say “Now I have a van-go too, ha ha ha!” and why would you mess with my puns like that?

Crack team of Vampire Commandos drop into Occupied Paris in 1943 - what could go wrong?

@kevin
"Setting up the scene. [...] not a lot of room for improvisation."
It's been a bit since I've run it, but I can offer two things:
1. The intent of the game doesn't seem to lean towards more than that. It's a "beer & pretzels" slaughter playground.
2. If you want it to be more than that, go for it! Add to the established scenes, making room for improv. At the bad art museum? Add some kind of magical artifact. Innocent bystanders to protect, and gain intel from. Etc.

Mythic Echoes brings "Eat the Reich" to Derby Museum's Vampire Games Day (May 3rd). Play as bloodsucking commandos in 1943 Paris with one mission: drain Hitler dry. Part of Derby's Gothic celebration. Turns out the only thing tastier than blood is Nazi tears. https://tinyurl.com/55tstxhh https://tinyurl.com/55tstxhh #VampireGamesDay #Derby #BramStoker #VampireMasquerade #DnD #TabletopGames #eatthereich

Welp I'm in and out of here faster than an #ADHD persons impulsivity... wait....

-.-;

Anyway, New games ahead, I've somehow landed myself in 1950s mexico and my Good Catholic Woman is now part of the Lasombra as the Sabbat rises in good ol Mexico City. #vampirethemasqerade

Quite looking forward to this, its being run by I believe the artist for #eatthereich and it seems my reputation of "Somethings going to explode, isn't it Flea?" has got there quite quickly....

My bunny, marshmallow needed surgery and I'm selling professional #ttrpg #DMing to pay for it.

Seriously, I'll run basically any rules set or module you can think of. #EATTHEREICH-- a game about being a vampire and killing Nazis and THE BOUGHS OF ETERNITY--A lvl 20 dnd2014 dungeon crawl both seem to be popular choices right now.
