Berlin Walks and English Talks (B1)

The course is designed to help you learn English in a way that feels natural and engaging. You’ll practice speaking and listening through conversations, sharing experiences, and exploring the city together.

The first course day will take place in the classroom with a general overview of Berlin's history and culture and the four different tour days. Suggestions and wishes are welcome.

If you take part in this course, you'll be expected to prepare a short presentation on a place, landmark or institution during one of these tours. Ideally, the presentation should also include personal impressions and experiences of the respective locations.

B1-level knowledge is required.

Englisch - Grammar Short Course with some conversation (B1+/B2): This course focuses on dependent prepositions after certain verbs, adjectives and nouns. Moreover important phrasal verbs will be revised. Time for free communication will be given during each of the four classes.
Intermediate (or upper-intermediate) level in English (B1+, B2) is required to attend this course.

K2 moniert (mit Recht?) die zweifelhafte Sprachbegabung ihrer Englischlehrerin. (So nebenbei - der Tik-Tok und Youtube-Shorts Irrsinn hat zumindest einen Vorteil: Die Kleinen lernen Englisch so nebenbei.) Jedenfalls sah ich mich gezwungen, ihre Kritik durch das - wahrscheinlich allen bekannte, aber immer sehenswerte - Video Öttingers zu relativieren. Wir haben - gerade stehen lineare Funktionen an - selten so viel gelacht beim Lernen.
