We should have free, frequent, and reliable public transport - instead, we're getting more GoAhead...

ÖPNV mit Bus und Bahn in Dublin ist toll geregelt:
Es gibt eine Guthabenkarte, die man über ein Bankkonto auflädt. Beim Beginn der Fahrt hält man die Karte an ein Lesegerät und der Maximalbetrag für den Tag i.H.v. € 6,00 wird abgebucht. Am Ende der Fahrt stempelt man aus, und das Guthaben zu den tatsächlichen Fahrtkosten wird wieder gut geschrieben. Mehr als € 2,00 habe ich noch für keine Fahrt bezahlt.
There is the bus stop. And there is the pole with the electronic sign showing the alleged live times of buses, bizarrely, about 5 metres in front of it. (Why didn't they just use the same pole? Less street clutter!)
I stand at the former. Because, obviously I do. It's the bus stop!

If this keeps up, I might ask to go down to 1 day a week in the office. A 90 minute commute home for 9km is not sustainable.
@tog It's also just down the road from Kylemore Luas stop, as well as bus stops (for the 13, 54, and more), and right beside the Grand Canal Greenway for anyone cycling.
I feel that may be important info for a lot of people interested in Tog Hackerspace.
