The domain libertarian.communitynetwork.space has been suspended (defederated) from Enby.Life. This is currently a single-user instance, but seems prepared to accept new users and become a new shitty hub for the right-wing side of fedi.

Block reasons include:
- right-wing
- pro-russia
- claims license to all content
- transphobia
- sex-negative
- ableism
- supports police violence
- racism (white supremacy, "white genocide" misinfo)
- promotes capitalism
- xenophobia
- publicizing reports
- supports child starvation and death
- fatphobia
- fascism
- supports mass surveillance
- supports discrimination as a concept

No screenshots this time, since you can just hop to the instance homepage and local timeline to see all of this right out in the open.

The domain doll.salon has been suspended (defederated) from Enby.Life for pedophilia (MAPs and lolicon/shotacon).

As usual for pedi instances, this one runs Pawkey (pediverse fork of Sharkey). Pawkey's frontend is locked down by default, so you'll need to view the users through another federated instance to verify receipts. (though I don't recommend that, personally.)

Sorry for the lack of alt text, I'm just getting tired of looking at these awful profiles. 3rd screenshot contains a lolicon banner depicting violent assault of a child, please be careful and don't look unless you need to. I censored it but it's still extremely awful.

The domain feral.bond has been suspended (defederated) from Enby.Life for pedophilia (pro-contact MAPs) and zoophilia. At least one user has an alt on another pediverse instance, cunny.beauty.

The instance frontend is locked down, so you'll need to view a user through another federated instance to verify receipts.

The domain freaky.university has been suspended (defederated) from Enby.Life for pedophilia (MAPs) and zoophilia. The admin Felix is also admin of cutiepaws.org, another known MAP instance. As usual for pedi instances, this one runs Pawkey (pediverse fork of Sharkey).

As Pawkey's frontend is locked down by default, you will need to view the user through another federated instance to verify receipts. (though I don't recommend that, personally...)

@mosseri @ Threads

"It’s been great to see all the feedback about the improvements we’ve made to topics on Threads. We’ve rolled out the ability to add up to 10 topics to your bio globally, as part of our efforts to help you show what you’re about and find conversations to join. Stay tuned for more updates on topics soon."

Test reply from #Mastodon to see if replies from the #Fediverse propagate over to the original post on #Threads

In the past (can't remember when I last tested) this has --> not <-- been the case

Haven't tested this 'reply propagation' in a long while because, frankly, I just don't care

Tuesday 04/22/2025 07:34:56 PDT

And no, replies from Mastodon do *not* propagate back over to the original post on Threads

"Federation" between Threads and Mastodon (at least) is a fraud

(OK tech note: my main hosting domain sfba dot social #DomainBlocks Threads so I would *not* see any of this here. I *do* see this on my alt instance hachyderm dot io however...)

My #domainblocks (so far, in addition to my instance's fediblocks):

gruene.social (temp.)
kirche.social
mastodon.green (temp.)
mostr.pub
pravda.me

Seems to me the admins & mods do a pretty good job to keep the dark side where it belongs. Thank y'all!

If you run a Mastodon server you probably already know about some of the existing tools for collectively managed domain blocks.

As an alternative, I created a simple Python script that lets you copy public domain blocks from servers you trust for an easy import.

Mastodon domain block exporter script | Stefan Bohacek

A simple script for exporting a trusted Mastodon server's domain block list.

If this is helpful to anyone, I recently made a tool that lets you copy blocklists from Mastodon servers that publicly share this information in a format that can be imported to your own server, if you're an admin.

A use case for this would be: I trust the admin of XYZ.social, l want to block all the same servers they're blocking.

Mastodon domain block exporter script | Stefan Bohacek

A simple script for exporting a trusted Mastodon server's domain block list.

I wrote a little Python script that downloads domain blocks from a specified Mastodon server and saves them as a CSV file that can be imported to your own server. In case this is something you need.

Domain blocks are a powerful tool that helps keep the fediverse safe. And they're also a source of controversies.

Here's my latest Fediverse Exploration.
