Pull your knees up to your chest and lean forward
Sip ice-cold water
Swallow some granulated sugar
Bite on a lemon or taste vinegar
Hold your breath for a short time
@hubermanlab shares what actually may work:
Hiccups = phrenic nerve-to-diaphragm spasm.
To de-spasm that circuit, inhale maximally (via your nose) 3 times with no exhales in between.
Then hold your breath for 15-30 seconds & then slowly exhale (via your mouth).
Done.
