The Russians aren't responsible for being ruled by Vladimir Putin. They didn't get to choose. But when any reasonably functional #democracy devolves into #fascism, then it's not any politicians' fault. It's not the worst propaganda media channels' fault. It's the *people's own fault* for voting as they did.
