The #QissaKhwaniMassacre in #BritishIndia was a key moment in the push for independence. #Nonviolent protesters were met, on #ThisDayInHistory in 1930, with machine-gun fire and a vehicle ramming attack, with up to 400 killed. The massacre was celebrated in the British press.
