Something I haven't done in a little while: an alternate version of a drawing, recoloured and flipped, with a few other minor tweaks.

In this case, a 'devil' variant of the 'angel' upthread.

What do you think? Do you prefer the more devilish lady in the red dress, or the original angel in turquoise?

It's also sort of the reason #SheHulk was created.

When it aired, another show, called the #SixMillionDollarMan was based on a book called #Cyborg. But the series created a character called #TheBionicWoman, who the network kept the rights to, because she was created by the program's writers.

So #StanLee made #SpiderWoman and the She Hulk to prevent the same thing happening in the #Marvel shows.

October is over, the daily art grind is finished, I really need to focus on my non-art projects.

Okay, so part of the frustration during October is the self-imposed limitation required to finish a piece in a few hours. It's nice to be able to take more time and do something more elaborate.

Something in my usual wheelhouse, but also slightly sci-fi?

Posting a bit late today (sleeping issues as usual). Shot this with my phone as a test at first, and then things developed!
I bought myself some new polarizing flip-ups shades (those that clip to the glasses), and this one was highly reflective from the outside. The green tint here is natural because of the shade we made over the yard outside. Had to crop the initial shot to great extent though. The funny thing is, I've made some shots, but I couldn't see them outside so I checked them later when I got indoors - just to realize that I've made the shots without reversing the camera, and that I was shooting the yard instead of my face!

I think it's fantastic, it reminds me again of the Cyberiad, in that this creature looks like a sentient intelligence, maybe a cyborg and a desert dweller. Its posture is more careful openness than mindless violence. I think that this is an ally on our quest through the desert or whatever. He will show us where the fortress is, but won't go in 🤣
