This week saw my final session with a long term mentee before I relocate. He's a big fan of a walk with a camera and always arranged his images in grids, so what better way to remember our time together.
He absolutely loved his final print and wall hanging.

I had two brilliant mornings this week working with health professionals at the 'Your Sexual Health Matters' networking event in Derbyshire. Through creative writing prompts we looked at how creative activity can help us to consider stigma around sexual health and the ways reflective writing could help us to approach ideas around the topic differently.

More photo walks with a mentee this week for The Mighty Creatives 'Creative Mentoring' programme. We always make sure we've got a selection of his favourite workshop cameras (with spare batteries) to hand and a good route mapped out, the only caveat being we have to end our walk at the local coffee shop!

As a trained Arts Award adviser I recently I supported 9 young people on their Arts Award journey during Pedestrian's 'Concept' project in Leicester. Not only did they achieve Arts Award but also created a group album of original music, a very busy bunch!

For one of my Mighty Creatives Creative Mentoring sessions, my mentee and I visited the simply stunning 'India to Leicester: An Artists Journey' exhibition at Leicester Museums showcasing the work of Kamal Koria. Well worth a visit, we both loved spending time with the beautiful paintings.

A slightly different Cyanotype assignment to my usual. I made some "Sun Paper" packs to be used by young people housed in refuge as part of Platform Thirty1's 'Wish Summer Sessions'. I really hope they enjoy using the materials. It's got me thinking about offering these via a store on my website too!
