Had a productive craft night @nycresistor . Guest chef Quinten (?) stopped by with coordination from Mars to bring us all Egg Night! As a requirement for an egg, I had to post about my experience, and since I forgot my discord password and didnt feel like jumping through their hoops, I decided to bring the eggy goodness to the fediverse!
Also soldered some more 0603 resistors onto @skyguided 's torroid driver. It is slowly coming together- Waiting on the MOSFETS. gosh that microscope is handy!
I and a few others were curious about "cloud eggs". you basically beat the egg whites until they get frothy, then bake that with a little cavity formed for the yoke for about 3 minutes. Plop the yoke in after 3 minutes and then bake for another minute and viola!- beautiful cloud egg! The peertube video I made has clarification on the beating. I was too busy soldering and eating to film the rest :)
