I’d like to propose promoting Stan Ulbrych (@Stanfromireland) to core developer. If you’ve been active in the repo lately you probably ran into this enthusiastic triager. I’m now at the proverbial point where applying his “I’d merge this” suggestions feel like a chore – and cases where I disagree feel like nitpicking. I think it’s time to promote Itamar Oren to the Core Team. poll Itamar has been a triager since July 2023, has given two Language Summit talks and organized the 2024 Core Dev sprint at Meta in Bellevue (Seattle). It’s a clear oversight that he wasn’t already promoted (probably partly to do with not having a mentor, because, well, I don’t think anyone thought he needed one?) @autolycus @kasra_mp Just a note: #FreeBSD is not run by the #FreeBSDFoundation. The FreeBSD Foundation is providing a lot of support (legal, financial, etc.) for the FreeBSD Project, but it has no control over the development process. The FreeBSD Project is controlled by the FreeBSD #CoreTeam, which is elected every 2 years by the FreeBSD committers.

Right after Neos Con in Berlin, the Neos Team met for a sprint to discuss ideas, current tasks and get their hands dirty with work on Neos and Flow.
