It doesn't feel like there's a "real me". I feel like nothing. People ask me questions about myself and my mind goes blank because there's nothing to me that exists independent of others or their interactions or perceptions.

I have #borderlinepersonalitydisorder and I feel empty inside. Where most people have a stable, internally-derived sense of self, I have a black hole, a gaping bottomless pit remaining unchanged as it insatiably consumes every particle of affirmation or encouragement anyone wastes on me.
