@realTuckFrumper Oil, and the dollar specifically the US petrodollar are why we can’t have nice things. Countries who stray, or threaten to stray, from trading oil in dollars are threatened with bullshit and sometimes the horns from the US.

#project2025 is big oil, eroding democracy and creeping authoritarianism is oil. It will be our demise, first our democracy then our ability to survive

2026 will be defined by:

1. The escalation of direct #climatecollapse-effects, pushed by the super El Nino that's coming.

2. #TheComingFossilistInsurrection:
"'Even if the strait reopens tomorrow, markets will not return to normal for at least 6 months', & in some cases it could take much longer.”

"Are OnlyFans models the best way to explain the #climatecrisis?"

Tbh, there is simply no good way to explain the climate crisis, because the problem isn't our attention span, but that we actively don't want to know/think about #climatecollapse.

Stop with this "if we just communicated better" 🤬

I hate this timeline.

As a long time #climate campaigner... I almost feel like I should be hoping that the Iran/US war continues as long as possible so the price of oil and gasoline can go as high as possible and force economies to electrify and shift at emergency-speed to renewables.

We could have started on this the easy way 30 years ago... but a few of the same people objected and obstructed.
