For legal reasons I'm totally not ripping a DVD copy of 1995 Pride an Prejudice right now. But if I was, hearing the DVD drive spin would be giving me nostalgia of early PC gaming right now:

Windows 98 or ME, drive is spinning, running an install wizard with that blue gradient background and white serif text at the top, watching those segmented progress bars slowly creep along.

For some reason I find it so funny that Microsoft has re-designed the look of Windows so many times and added so much fluff in recent years yet the installer still looks like Windows Vista.
