So, question time again. . . The job I am trying to get would require occasional use of a personal laptop. I have an Alienware M17 R1 that needs a new keyboard and disc drive. I am pretty sure I am capable of the repairs, and the parts are available and affordable. Problem is, it's a Vista machine. Can it be retrofitted with one of the open source operating systems? I don't want to put money and time into it if I'm stuck with Vista.

Please don't arrive in the area before 5:30 AM as we need to maintain quiet until 8:00 AM. Avoid lot 3 parking, as it is for the farmers market operating there on the same day.

EFM Buyer parking in lot 2 is *free* for this event. If you park in a different lot be sure to have a college parking permit <https://www.electronicsfleamarket.com/faq#buyers> ($3) on your dashboard.
