Artenvielfalt im Botanischen Garten Leipzig
Botanische Gärten sind Orte der urbanen Biodiversität. Mit rund 6.500 kultivierten Pflanzenarten ist auch der Botanische Garten der Universität Leipzig nicht nur ein attraktiver Ort für Lehre, Forschung und Austausch, sondern auch ein Ort mit sehr hoher Artenvielfalt. Während unsere wissenschaftliche Pflanzensammlung sehr gut dokumentiert ist, zeigt die Dokumentation von Insekten, Spinnen und vielen anderen Organismengruppen noch Lücken. Hier kann also noch viel entdeckt und gefunden werden. Wir laden Bürgerinnen und Bürger ein mit uns gemeinsam die Artenvielfalt im Botanischen Garten zu erkunden. Botanical gardens are places of urban biodiversity.
