I happened upon this brief but interesting post-mortem about a cat-themed puzzle game I'd not previously heard of called Cat Herder.

There's some useful points about playtesting and some interesting marketing stuff (including the surprising effectiveness of cat enthusiast subreddits and Mastodon).
