Okay. Been doing tech over four decades now. Just bought a #raspberrypi5 #canakit and was the damned simpilest computer I’ve ever done. Comes with preinstalled #linux on a microsd. 15 minutes! And it was up and running.

Trying a #CanaKit #RaspberryPi 4B (Extreme?) 8GB Desktop Kit to see how 1.5GHz feels as a thin client for #linux #gaming via Moonlight, the open sourced Nvidia Gamestream competitor.

I use #arm64 for development and production often, but I can't honestly remember the last time I tried a desktop environment aside from DeX on ARM.

Geeky thrills. I swapped the box and heat sink on my pi from a standard #raspberrypi heat sink to a premium aluminum #canakit case on my #homeassiant box and dropped the average temps by 15 C.
