Koyo Kouoh (58), hoofdcurator en directeur van het museum voor hedendaagse kunst Zeitz MOCAA in Kaapstad (Zuid-Afrika), is onverwachts overleden. Ze zou volgend jaar de eerste vrouwelijke Afrikaanse curator van de prestigieuze Biënnale van Venetië worden.

Op dit moment loopt in BOZAR de tentoonstelling ‘When we see us’ die de pan-Afrikaanse schilderkunst belicht en waarvan Koyo Kouoh de curator was.
