Call MN DNR commissioner Sarah Strommen at 651-259-5555 and tell her to protect the BWCA by canceling Twin Metals' leases. You can also tell Tim Walz the same. They both have the power to cancel these leases, especially since the company failed to meet the production and royalty requirements mandated by those contracts!

Those in power wish to destroy any sense of wonder in the natural world we have left remaining, so that all we see is them, money, and trying to survive.

And on top of it, it's selling off mining rights to a foreign company so that they can sell copper on the global market. There is nothing safe from bespoilment by these people. They look at beautiful incredibly special places and see only profit for themselves.
