#BonfireOfTheVanities was a strange movie. And its problems were all about the casting. Virtually every role in the film was miscast, resulting in a movie that felt wrong from start to finish. Tom Hanks! Bruce Willis! Morgan Freeman! Melanie Griffith! How could it go wrong?? Well, not a single actor was the right pick for their role, that's how. But, I believe it could have been greatly salvaged had Hanks and Willis simply switched parts. Alas, that's not what happened.🤷‍♂️
