Logitech MX Master 4 – premiera tuż za rogiem?

Logitech przygotowuje się do premiery myszki MX Master 4, następcy popularnej MX Master 3S, z której korzystam i ją uwielbiam.

Nowy model (oznaczenie MR0118) otrzymał certyfikat Bluetooth w Brazylii od tamtejszego urzędu Anatel, co sugeruje, że debiut rynkowy jest blisko. Ptaszki ćwierkają, że końcem tego roku pojawi się na rynku (także w Polsce).

W międzyczasie na Instagramie Logitech pojawiła się (i szybko zniknęła) grafika promocyjna, która trafiła na Reddita. Z przecieku wynika, że zmieniono układ przycisków i rolki bocznej, poprawiając ergonomię.

Choć brak jeszcze oficjalnego ogłoszenia, obecność materiałów marketingowych i uzyskana certyfikacja sugerują, że premiera MX Master 4 jest już bardzo blisko.

Hello folks. Do you know an #Android application I can use to turn Android phone into #bluetooth keyboard and mouse for a #Linux PC? I would prefer if the app is #FOSS

There are several options on Play Store. The only option which works as it should, is not free not as in freedom nor price. It's "Serverless bluetooth mouse and keyboard" or something.

There is also "Bluetooth Remote" in F droid but it's for Android TV and does not work on PC.

Boosts are very much appreciated.

ARCH LINUX WOES:

every time my laptop goes to sleep or I close the lid, BT mouse disconnects and I have to forget to the device and manually reconnect it

I edited the config file in
/etc/bluetooth/input.config
like it suggests in the wiki and rebooted, but still doing the same shit.

got a logitech m650, and Intel Corporation Wireless 8265 / 8275, not sure what else to try apart from using the dongle fulltime

I was having #SlowInternet issues, and narrowed it down to some issue with a #BluetoothMouse, but was stuck with 6mbps speeds instead of my usual 80-120ish rates.

On a hunch and brief reference to something I didn't quite understand on a tech site, I logged my laptop into that mysterious "5G" channel my wifi offers (as opposed to its default 2.4g channel) - channel's probably not even the right word, but ANYway...

Speeds now jumped to 120 mbps or better.

Lesson learned!
