Jeep just pushed a software update that bricked all the 2024 Wrangler 4xe models, including my Willys. The future is going great.

So my #Lenovo X1 Carbon Gen9 randomly turned off today and now it just does this. LED next to the charging port turns off then briefly blinks orange, goes back to white and then it blinks the esc, f1, and f4 buttons.

Occasionally it turns on and mentions a bios recovery or i even get to the boot menu but tends to quickly power off again.

Anyone knows if that is salvageable or what the issue might be?

Today Google bricked my Chromebook by force-installing a hidden extension that trains a machine vision model on the contents of my screen without my consent, making the whole machine too hot to touch, and I am once again begging someone, anyone, to remove Chrome from Google by any means necessary. https://research.google/blog/screenai-a-visual-language-model-for-ui-and-visually-situated-language-understanding/
