Si profila una vittoria del NO al referendum sulla Giustizia promossa dal governo Meloni, almeno secondo quanto emerso dai primi instant ed exit poll pubblicati subito dopo la chiusura dei seggi. Per Swg/La7 il No è avanti con una forchetta del 44-53% contro il 47-51% del Sì. Gli instant poll di YouTrend/Sky indicano la prevalenza del No con una forchetta compresa tra il 49,5% e il 53,5%, col Sì che si attesterebbe invece tra il 46,5% e il 50,5%. I primi exit poll sono quelli di Opinio/Rai che confermano il No in vantaggio tra il 49 e il 53% dei voti, il Sì tra il 47 e il 51%.
A sorprendere, già dalla serata di ieri, l’alta affluenza alle urne: sicuramente al di sopra del 58%. Si votava fino alle 15:00, domenica 22 marzo e lunedì 23 marzo. “Approvate il testo della legge di revisione degli artt. 87, decimo comma, 102, primo comma, 104,105, 106, terzo comma, 107, primo comma, e 110 della Costituzione approvata dal Parlamento e pubblicata nella Gazzetta Ufficiale del 30 ottobre 2025 con il titolo ‘Norme in materia di ordinamento giurisdizionale e di istituzione della Corte disciplinare’?”, si leggeva sulla scheda con il quesito. SÌ oppure NO, le due caselle da barrare. I risultati definitivi arriveranno nel pomeriggio.
Gli italiani erano chiamati a votare per tre grosse modifiche all’ordinamento giudiziario: se la riforma verrà approvata dai Sì, verrà introdotta la separazione delle carriere tra pubblici ministeri e giudici, verrà sdoppiato il Consiglio Superiore della Magistratura (CSM), l’organo di autogoverno dei magistrati, e verrà creata una Alta Corte Disciplinare che si occuperà dei procedimenti disciplinari nei confronti degli stessi magistrati. La riforma prevede anche che i membri del Csm, per due terzi magistrati e per un terzo giuristi, non siano più eletti come avviene ora ogni quattro anni, ma siano nominati tramite sorteggio.

A “No” vote is projected to win the referendum on Justice promoted by the Meloni government, at least according to the initial instant polls and exit polls published immediately after the closing of polling stations. For Swg/La7, the No is ahead with a range of 44-53% against the 47-51% of the Sì. YouTrend/Sky instant polls indicate the prevalence of the No with a range between 49.5% and 53.5%, with the Sì stabilizing at between 46.5% and 50.5%. The high turnout at the polls, certainly above 58%, was surprising, already from yesterday evening. Voting took place until 3:00 PM on Sunday, March 22nd, and Monday, March 23rd. “Do you approve the text of the law amending articles 87, tenth paragraph, 102, first paragraph, 104, 105, 106, third paragraph, 107, first paragraph, and 110 of the Constitution approved by Parliament and published in the Official Gazette on October 30, 2025, entitled ‘Regulations on the Organization of Justice and the Establishment of the Disciplinary Court’?” was written on the ballot with the question. YES or NO, the two boxes to tick. Final results will arrive in the afternoon.
Italian citizens were called to vote on three major changes to the judicial system: if the reform is approved by the Sì, the separation of careers between prosecutors and judges will be introduced, the Superior Council of the Magistracy (CSM), the self-governing body of judges, will be doubled, and a High Disciplinary Court will be created to deal with disciplinary proceedings against the judges themselves. The reform also provides that the members of the CSM, for two-thirds of the judges and for one-third of lawyers, will no longer be elected as they are now every four years, but will be appointed by lottery.
